DAY 5/160

September 2, 2017

Dear Baby Milline,

Today was all about relaxing, and that's what we did for the most part. However Baby Miline, when you get here you will come to learn and understand that Labor Day Weekend is the essence of Football season being in full swing. You see Labor Day weekend, though it's not the first set of college football game, signals College Football has returned and thus so has Football season. Now don't get it twisted High Schools in the state of Georgia have been playing the past 2 to 3 weeks, but college is now in full swing and this Thursday will be the start of the NFL football season.

We spent most of the day today at your cousin's house fellowshipping and watching the various game of the day.  The main game of concern was the Alabama vs. Florida State game played here in Atlanta, but the earlier games were quite exciting as well.

We took a brief hiatus from College Football to watch my 600 pound life, as we were introduced to set of brothers by your aunt whom both weighed over 600 pounds.  This lead to a conversation about health and about you and how no one in the room would ever allow you to reach that weight.  Other conversations about health and pregnancy were also had through out the afternoon.

Plenty of food was served, and these hamburger we had today were delicious. I normally don't eat beef Baby Milline but today I had to try these burgers out as they were specially prepared.

Funny thing you should know about your mother though is that no matter where we are at some point in us being there she will get cold. I'm not certain what it is but your mom's temperature and my temperature are on totally different end of the climate spectrum. When she's cold I'm fine and when she's warm I'm burning up. You may be more like your mother than you are me, but only time will tell who's nature in regards to warmth you receive.

Today was a good day, and tomorrow we celebrate your great aunt's retirement. But before that Church as tomorrow is the first Sunday of September and your mother and I are making it a habit to be consistent with our physical church attendance verses streaming online. Though they make it so easy to do so.

Until Tomorrow Love,

Your Father

Documenting Your Life: Take Advantage of the Moment

One major fault I have as a photographer is not capitalizing on the moment, while I still have them. Always thinking there’s tomorrow and not right now. As I get older and reflecting on my past I, like many, realize that these moments won’t last forever. There may not be a period where your love ones are available for that portrait or your kids willing to visit so that you can update your latest portrait of them.
