Dear Baby Milline,

Today was a hectic day but a calm day. I didn't have to travel to Valdosta today for work, but I will in the morning. So Irma was bad but I still don't think she did as much damage as we were expecting.

I managed to make it into the office today to take care of some things as well as attend meetings concerning the outage. I left around noon to spend time with your mom and family. All was well until the power went out around 3PM. Thinking the power would eventually come back your mother and I took a nap, before finally deciding to come to your grandmother's house, which had power, to charge phones amongst other devices.

Now I'm resting and preparing myself for the 3.5 hour drive tomorrow to Valdosta to assist with restoration in South West Georgia.

Am I too Old to be wearing Jordans?

At 43 am I too old to be wearing Jordans? A few of my friends think so. Was having a conversation recently with a friend from college about the latest release of Jordan’s and a few pairs I’ve recently picked up. My brotha laughed at me and basically said, when he sees guys our age wearing Jordan’s he thinks it’s “Lame as Hell.” My best friend of nearly 36 years also recently said something similar, asking why am I wasting money on the same shoe that was released several years ago, when there are other options available?

Are they right?

Leica as a Teacher

So in 2024 I realized that if I did not upgrade my iPhone every year , sell some photography gear that was collecting dust, and due to its crazy hype sell my X100V I could potentially get that Leica Camera I have had my eyes on for quite some time.
